Love-At Work: The Podcast

She called me the day before Valentine’s Day:

“Caroline, let’s do it. Let’s get out there and talk about it. Let’s start a podcast.”

The next day, appropriately, we publicly announced the birth of our project and commitment to each other.

It started just as easy as that. But the truth is we had begun the journey to bringing our complementary perspectives on the topic of valuing our employees’ work experience differently together years before.

We met while we were studying public speaking at HEROIC Public Speaking in late 2022. I remember seeing her name online and later on the in-person roster, thinking: “Last name Queen - I can’t wait to meet her.” Like I already knew we would become BFFs, auto-magically.

Our origin story is coming together in our first episode, coming later this month 🙏🏼.
