Somewhere along the way, I forgot that this is where it all started. It was Spring semester, 1998.

I’m confident I saw it on an ad printed pinned on board. On one of those pieces of papers that has a strip you can rip off at the bottom.

This one had an email on it. So I attached my resume to what I believe was my first ever cover letter and hit send.

That June, I started my career at America Online, a.k.a. AOL in the Tucson Technical Call Center.

Today, I’m feeling like a success story in this place.
