He texted me a couple weekends ago: “I have a new boss: Stephan Jager. We start in Asheville.”

We’re both sober, so I resisted the temptation to take a cheap shot pun with his last name. But for y’all here, that used to be my drink!

“Good for you, Bro! Congrats, get after it!”

Mostly, I didn’t want to make an assumption right away. My brother Julien, a professional caddie, has after all, almost exclusively worked with Canadians players his 15+ years on tour. And plenty of Canadians are of German descent. Present company included, Mannheim on our Mom’s side!

Later that night, I looked into it.

I went to set my PGA Tour app notifications to keep up.

And that’s when I saw it. 🖤❤️💛
