Saturdays: For the Love of Adventure

"I can be a queen in this truck!", she said, spilling out with enthusiasm like only an almost 4 year-old can do.

It's through my niece Madeleine's eyes that I often revisit again the joie de vivre that comes with my on-the-go lifestyle.

On an unseasonably warm Lexington Saturday afternoon this weekend, it was time. Time for me to introduce her to one of my definitions of adventure: being the original owner and sole caregiver of a 13 year-old Jeep Wrangler.

After all, it's never too early, or too late, for a girl to fall in love with an iconic American mobility solution. 🙏🏼

Lucky me.  I caught her look at the very moment I imagine she came to understand how the top transforms.

A look says everything.

It's a Jeep thing. And you already understand it. You are indeed a queen. ✌🏼

And I can't wait to see the adventures you get into. On-road, off-road: you can count on Matante to go anywhere with you. We'll take the top down.

We are adventurers.
