50 Before 50: The <48 and a> Half-Birthday List

[rt_reading_time label="Reading Time:" postfix="minutes" postfix_singular="minute"]

2/22. It's my half birthday! Any reason to turn up, really. 🦁

Also 222: a magic number. Which makes me love my number, 22, even more. Let's celebrate.

I also really like multiples of 5. I was born in 1975 and I am turning 50 in 2025. ✨

And y'all know I love to make a milestone birthday EPIC. For my 40th, I had a ridiculously fun and slightly ratchet party I called #the39, for my 39th birthday. Now, THAT was a turn up!

18 months later, I competed in Ironman, a couple months after my actual 40th birthday.

When I commit, I am really going for it. I make it big! And I like the long-road.

Now, it's the next one. And... It's a big one.

Yet I've only set one goal: becoming the cool lady with the old Jeep - I'm killing it at that obvi.

Otherwise, my mantra these days is simple:

Be more of yourself. Live a life you love. Do it everyday.

And I am sitting here at sunrise, with the sun on my face, writing this, doing exactly that. Realizing I don't actually need the finish line anymore. Pondering turning 50 real soon.

I wanna turn up! Yet I'm paralyzed.

I don't know the answer to "Caroline, what are you gonna do for your 50th?"...

A lululemonhead gifted me the spark: make a list of 50 things to do before 50.

A LIST! Oh yeah, this I am trained for. Thanks KMac 🫢🏼. I'm 100% confident this exercise is gonna help.

So this is the plan.

2/22 - It gives me 6 month to work on it.

Y'all help me figure out what to put on the list.

And by August 22, 2024, we'll have it all figured out!

Deal.

I'll go first.
