TMB: My Last Business Trip

[rt_reading_time label="Reading Time:" postfix="minutes" postfix_singular="minute"]

I miss traveling so much. For work.

Sure, there was a time when I had had enough of the weekly beat to NYC. It's not easy to get anywhere from any of the airports in the New York City metropolitan area. Nor fast, even from DC.

I remember some weeks, I had to go to both NYC and Columbus. Madness. All to show up excellently in a windowless brown conference room in Paramus.

Oh, and there were a lot of trips to Dallas for a client in Fort Worth. And Houston too come to think of it. But I always loved going to Detroit. Well, except for that one or seventeen times in February.

Facebook reminded me today that it's the first anniversary of my last business trip. It was Seattle. Home of Slalom Consulting global HQ. It was an awesome trip. Leadership training and Marketing summit back to back. And a lot of connecting.

I literally ache to travel again. For business. For people.
