TMB: Missing Munich
Nostalgia for Germany

I am having massive FOMO. My BFF and Gloss Over podcast co-host, Meaghan Whalen is in Munich, vacationing, closing out 2019 and celebrating the coming of a new decade. I've been seeing her posts on social media, giving her recommendations for places to dine at and visit, and I see her car parked in my condo every single day. I was supposed to be there with her.
And I am also missing out on invites from new, dear friends in my favorite city: a ski trip to Austria, a weekend in Berlin, NYE in the Black Forest, an American dinner in Schwabing, my AirBnb, a train trip to quaint Freising, meeting a brand new human... And all the beautiful places I am dying to put my eyes on.
But I made the decision to delay my trip until the spring intentionally: to close out 2019 focused on wrapping up my 2020 plans at Slalom DC and show up on Thursday ready to execute. Most importantly though, to focus on my personal goals and get really clear about how I actually make my way back to Munich.
My vision hasn't changed: I live and work in Europe, precisely in Munich. But like I said before, you have to remember precisely where you have been and stay where you are to get to where you want to be.
So I am staying, just a little bit long.
But I'll be back Munich. Wait for me! I'll see you in 2020.
