TMB: My Writer's Block

[rt_reading_time label="Reading Time:" postfix="minutes" postfix_singular="minute"] In doing some maintenance on The Voices Collection today, I realized that I haven't written anything for the blog in almost a month.  Thoughts of doubt came rushing to my head: how are you calling yourself a writer, a blogger, if you aren't even writing?!So many thing have happened since I last wrote: I returned to the US, and now to Europe again, a sickness, the holidays, a new year, the miracle of my niece's birth, career and life-changing decisions right in front of me, even creative work for a paycheck; I wonder how come I can neither find the inspiration to string along a few thoughts and sentences nor the motivation to sit quietly and stare at the white screen.Reflecting on my afternoon in Munich yesterday where, accompanied by a kindred spirit, I visited the Literaturhaus to see visual story teller Christoph Neimann's latest exhibit, I recall his solution to this fear of being out of ideas: CREATE.Start, do something, until something sticks.  And keep going.  Even if it takes 10000 hours. This is my sketchbook, where I practice my art, my reactive dialogue and my empathy.CN
